A group actively restoring Midsomer Norton Station as a working railway museum. The Trust encourages projects that contribute to the conservation of engineering features, buildings and earthworks along the S&D route in ways that perpetuate the historic character of the railway.

This is the community group seeking to represent the residents of East Twerton at the often overlooked northern end of the Two Tunnels path. From their web site - "Benefits will be provided to all types of people including the disabled, parents with baby buggies, ramblers and cyclists, both for commuting and leisure purposes."

One of several schools who are neighbours to the path. "We're very happy for you to list Monkton Combe School as one of the supporters of the 'Two Tunnels Project'. Already, the school has benefited from the project by studying it in both Physics and Geography."

"Oldfield Park Infants School are interested in supporting the Two Tunnels project as a community amenity and a way of promoting health and fitness as well as good use of the local environment."

The chair of the local PCT has sent a message of support from the trust. ... "As you point out in your letter, even moderate exercise bestows substantial benefit on people's state of health especially in reducing the risk of heart disease and improving mental health. The Two Tunnels Greenway is likely to help to counteract our seemingly 'Obesegenic' evironment in which it sometimes seems that the spaces around us prevent us from taking exercise. I wish the project every success."
